Website & enquiry terms

Request a visit, ask about a car or part, and agree the details with MVS before paying.
The business
This website is operated by Motor Vehicle Services Slough Ltd, registered in England and Wales, company number 17068280. Registered office: The Garage, Lorne Close, Slough, SL1 2TL. MVS is not VAT registered.
Contact MVSFKB@gmail.com or 01753 577575 for an enquiry, correction or complaint.
Requesting a workshop visit
Submitting the form requests a visit; it does not confirm an appointment, authorise unspecified work or take payment. MVS will contact you to agree availability, the work and the price or basis of an estimate. Additional work needs agreement.
Check your contact details, registration and requested service before sending. Contact us promptly if you need to correct, change or cancel a request. Any applicable cancellation arrangements will be explained when the appointment or work is agreed.
Cars and second-hand parts
Listings invite enquiries. A reservation request does not hold an item until MVS confirms it. No payment is taken by this website. Price, availability, condition, known defects, fitment where relevant, and collection or delivery arrangements must be agreed before purchase.
Any delivery charge, warranty and applicable cancellation or return terms will be provided before you agree to buy. If a contract is concluded at a distance, the relevant pre-contract information and statutory cancellation rights apply, subject to any lawful exceptions explained at that time.
Your statutory consumer rights are not removed because an item is second-hand. Nothing here excludes rights relating to goods that are faulty, misdescribed or otherwise fail to meet the applicable legal standard, or services not carried out with reasonable care and skill.
Partner bookings
BookMyGarage, Service4Service and Servicing Stop have their own booking, payment and cancellation arrangements. Check the provider's terms when using its service. If you already have a partner booking, give MVS your existing reference instead of making a second booking.
Website information and use
News, photographs and dashboard-light guidance are general information, not a diagnosis of your vehicle. Warning behaviour varies with the fault and vehicle. Where the guide says to stop safely, do so and arrange help; do not continue driving to reach a booking.
Please use the site lawfully and do not attempt to access another customer's information or disrupt the service. Tell us about errors so we can correct them. External websites are operated by their own providers.
These terms do not exclude liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limit mandatory consumer protections. The laws of England and Wales apply, without taking away mandatory rights or access to courts available to consumers where they live.
